What does Ron Jones really value?

FACT: Ron approved of boys using the girls’ bathroom in elementary school.

In 2017, while Ron Jones was on the school board, DSISD approved a third-grade student, who was born a boy but identified as a girl, using the girls’ bathroom.

Here is an excerpt from the Austin American-Statesman on Ron’s position.

Where does Ron Jones really live?

FACT: As of the date of his application, Ron owned property in Burnet County and declared it as his homestead*.

This property is NOT in DSISD.

*The Texas Tax Code § 11.13 states that a “residence homestead:

“is occupied as the individual's principal residence by an owner, by an owner's surviving spouse who has a life estate in the property, or, for property owned through a beneficial interest in a qualifying trust, by a trustor or beneficiary of the trust who qualifies for the exemption.”

FACT: On his ballot application, Ron said his address was 340 Harris Drive, Austin, TX 78737.

This property is in DSISD, but it’s NOT where he claimed his homestead.

FACT: Previous filings indicate that the address on Ron’s driver’s license was 112 Combs Alley Rd in Spicewood, TX.

To qualify for a homestead exemption, your DL must match the property for which you are claiming a homestead.

FACT: Since the filing of his application, Ron has utilized at least ONE other address in his official filings.

Official Voter Registration for Ron Jones as of April 9, 2025 states that his address is 525 Country Lane, Dripping Springs, TX 78620.

Information from Hays CAD indicates this property is owned by Laurie & Eric Cromwell. Laurie is a former Board of Trustee Member from Hays CISD.

Who does Ron Jones really work for?

FACT: For years, Ron’s been involved with companies and organizations that profit from school district spending and debt.

Ron Jones currently works in sales for Salto Systems which provides access point technology to schools.

FACT: Ron is on the board of Friends of Texas Public Schools, a BIG government group, founded by the failed politician Scott Milder. This outfit is a key player in Texas’ Education Cartel, which zealously push for higher taxes and more debt.

FACT: Ron Jones is supported by leftwing organizations, like the Dripping Springs Public School Alliance (DSPSA).
